do the economic sanctions on belarus somehow affect employer of record services?
No. The sanctions imposed on Belarus affect only specific persons and some sectors of the economy such as the oil and fertilizer industries. Using an Employer of Record service in Belarus is in no way sanctioned, as long as you do not hire anyone from the sanctioned persons list. CAN I VISIT MY TEAM IN BELARUS? IS TRAVEL TO THE COUNTRY POSSIBLE?
It is very much possible. Direct flights to Minsk operate from Dubai, Istanbul, Yerevan, Tbilisi and other cities. If flying in, the citizens of most countries can enter Belarus visa-free. If you are arriving from the EU, it may be easier to cross the land border between Vilnius and Minsk. For this, however, you need a visa. Applying for a business visa to Belarus is not difficult.
